Andrea Pearson is from Kelowna, BC, Canada. Andrea grew up onstage, performing all over the Country as a child and teenager , opening for artists such as Tanya Tucker, Brooks and Dunn, Wynonna and many others. "I've been singing since I could talk but I first stepped on stage at the age of 9. I've been hooked ever since!" Along with many TV appearances, radio interviews and studio recording, music was her world. After high school, when everyone else was going off to college, Andrea couldn't bring herself to commit to a 'normal' profession. "I knew music was more than just something I loved to do. It's who I was. More a part of me than an arm or a leg. It was my soul and without it, I would never fully be complete. " Upon realizing this, the decision was easy! "I packed my guitar, my keyboard and about as many suitcases as I could squeeze into that little car and off to Nashville I drove!" It was a 2,500 mile trip in the dead of winter. " My mom drove with me, through snow storms and near blizzards but after 5 days, we made it to Nashville in one piece."
Upon moving to Nashville, Andrea started going to songwriter nights a lot and developing an even greater passion for writing. "I went to a writers night at the Bluebird Cafe and heard Neil Thrasher sing one of his hits recorded by my all time favorite country singer, Reba McEntire. I was so moved by his rendition. That's when I totally understood the powerful connection between the songwriter and the song. It was so real! I was totally inspired!" Since that first writers night in Nashville, Andrea has written over 500 songs and gotten to collaborate with some of the biggest in the business. She also took it upon herself to study pro-tools at a local college and built her own home studio. She would explore creating all types of music and played different instruments to build her own demo's. She credits a lot of her development as a songwriter and producer to this. She was signed to a Pop deal with Warner Bros. from 2005-2007 and signed her first major publishing deal in Nashville in 2009. Andrea has been produced by pop star Corey Hart, Nashville legendary producer Garth Fundis and country artist Bryan White. Andrea has had cuts in Canada as well as nods from some of musics biggest artists, including holds for Celine Dion, Reba McEntire , LeeAnn Womack and LeAnn Rimes.
The only passion equivalent to music for Andrea is her love for animals. She owns three dogs, a cat and a horse and spends her extra time fostering dogs and raising awareness for the humane society and animal rescue.
